Club history

Handball club “Belgrade” strives to remove children from the street, to point out the work to be done through work and socializing, to the significance of the values they carry in themselves and make the greatest treasure of this country. Young, affirmed, eager to work and succeed, we strive to achieve even higher goals.

The Belgrade Handball Club was founded in 1957, renewed in 2003, and the first women’s team was established in 2012. This is a club that has been given by such players as Dr. Branislav Pokrajac, Milan Lazarević. Jovica Cvetkovic and many others. At the moment, the club is training about 80 girls and 140 boys, who compete with great success within the League of younger categories of Belgrade, Children’s League, Republic and International competitions. Children of the RK “Beograd” are guided and trained by the director Đurica Nađ, professor of physical culture and sports Janković Željko, former national player Padežanin Branko, and one of the most professional trainers of young categories Čubrilo Zoran. In recent years we have won:

3rd place in the category of girlfriends 2000 and young in the League of younger categories RSB 2014/2015.

2nd place in the category of the girl in 2001 and the young in the League of young categories RSB 2014/2015.

2nd place in the category of girls 2002 and young in the League of young categories RSB 2014/2015.

2nd place in the category of girlfriend 2002 and younger in DLRM RSB 2014/2015.

3rd place in girls category 2004 and younger in DLRM RSB 2014/2015.

1st place in the category of girlfriends 2002 and young at New Year’s “Terme Catez” 2014 tournament.

1st place in the category of girlfriends 2002 and young at the International Handball tournament “Trophy of the city of Zrenjanin” 2016.

1st place in the category of girlfriends 2002 and young at the tournament “Trophy of Belgrade” 2015.

1 st place in the category of girls 2002 and young at the International Handball Tournament “Belgrade Handball Chellenge” 2016.

We train and prepare for participation in international and national competitions where we will represent our club and our city in the best light.
